Starting a Journal Club for Your Pulmonary Rehab Team

In this episode, I discuss how, and why, to start a journal club for your pulmonary rehabilitation team.

I mention two journal club episodes from LungFIT:
1. https://lungfit.med.ubc.ca/episode-2/
2. https://lungfit.med.ubc.ca/journal-club-moreno/

I talk about guides that are available to help you with your journal club. Here are two:
1. A open-access paper from BMJ on traditional and novel journal club formats: https://ep.bmj.com/content/105/4/236
2. A web-based guide written by an occupational therapist on starting a journal club, which can be found here: https://www.foxrehab.org/clinical-literature-journal-club-guide/

I also talk about selecting articles from reputable journals. Some of these journals may not be available to you, but many have articles that are open-access. This is not a complete list.

1. American Journal of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine
2. Annals of the American Thoracic Society
3. Archives of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
4. BMC Pulmonary Medicine
5. Chest
6. European Respiratory Journal
7. Physical Therapy
8. Respirology
9. Respiratory Medicine
10. Thorax
